How to play the Rust Edition
- Download Native Client and sign in with your Minecraft account.
- On Home, pick Native Client · Experimental.
- Press Play. The launcher installs the Rust Edition and keeps it up to date.
An experimental version
The Rust Edition is new and still rough in places. If you run into a bug, a crash or something that feels wrong, please report it in our Discord: one bug per post, with what you did and what happened. Every report helps.
Built on Horizon
The Rust Edition runs on Horizon, an open-source Minecraft client written in Rust and released under the MIT licence. Huge thanks to the Horizon team and contributors: none of this would exist without their work. The servers they partner with show in the game's server list under Horizon Partnered.
